A relative of notorious serial killer Andrew Cunanan was at the center of a police probe in Washington after a woman reported he was harassing her, according to police records.
There were never any charges filed in the case as the alleged victim refused to provide police details about why she believed she was being harassed.
Sierra Robertson reported to Oak Harbor, Washington, police that Austin Cunanan had been harassing her, according to a police report. The woman lived in Texas and Austin lived in Oak Harbor, according to a police report obtained by FrontPageDetectives.
Robertson said the two met on the Tumblr blog, but she did not provide further details about how he was allegedly harassing her, the report noted. The officer told Robertson how she could get a protective order.
Andrew Cunanan was a famed serial killer who murdered five people from Minnesota to New Jersey to Florida in 1997.
His most famous, and last victim, was renowned fashion designer Gianni Versace. Andrew Cunanan shot Versace on the steps of his Miami mansion in broad daylight. The murder shocked the world and a massive manhunt unfolded.
Cunanan killed himself eight days after murdering Versace murder and police have never been able to confirm why he killed the victims.
