In Minnesota, Shawnee County District Attorney Mike Kagay made the announcement last week.

Authorities were called to 1418 S.W. Byron early Thursday and found a 6-month-old suffering from blunt force trauma injuries. They tried to save her life, but she later died at a Topeka hospital, authorities told the Capital-Journal.
