Randall Richard Kilby, 35, now faces three counts of murder, Deschutes County District Attorney John Hummel confirmed to the Bend Bulletin.

On March 21, a victim was walking with Kilby when she mouthed to another person to ask for help, according to the report. That person then called 911.

The victim broke free a bit later and ran to a neighbor. There, she told them that someone was murdered in their home and that her son was involved.

Police went to the home and found the bodies of Jeffrey Allen Taylor, 66, and Benjamin Harlin Taylor, 69, according to the report. Jeffrey was killed by hatchet bows. The Taylors were friends of Kilby, but there was a dispute, officials said.

The murders are alleged to have happened Saturday, but Kilby made the victim drive around for several hours, the report states. On Sunday, she suggested they go for a walk, where she asked for help.

When police spoke to Kilby, he reportedly provided information about the death of Daphne Banks, who was injured in the same house on Christmas and later died.

That victim went to the hospital and Kilby said she had fallen. But, hospital staff didn’t believe his story. He was arrested and later released from jail.

Kilby had been in a romantic relationship with the victim before the Christmas incident.
