Teen charged in connection to fatal shooting of a man on a Pennsylvania street

A teen has been charged in connection to the fatal shooting of another man in Pennsylvania last month.
This week, police in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, announced they charged Elijahuwon Ashmeir Brown, 14, with criminal homicide, possession of a firearm by a minor and possession by a person not allowed to possess a firearm.
He was arrested in connection to the shooting of Rolando Rivera, 23.
Police said around 9:45 p.m. on Aug. 27, Lancaster officers responded to a report of a shooting. When they arrived, officers found Rivera lying in the street. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
An autopsy determined Brown died from multiple gunshot wounds.
Investigating officers got video surveillance footage that showed Brown near the shooting scene, according to Lancaster police. On the video, Rivera and Brown were on the same street but walking in opposite directions.
As they walked, Brown ran towards the victim and approached from behind, according to Lancaster police. Brown then fired a gun multiple times. He continued to shoot even as Rivera fell, police said.
Police recognized the suspect as Brown and arrested him on Sept. 2. Brown is being held in the Lancaster County jail without bond.
Investigators did not reveal a possible motive for the shooting.
