On Oct. 7, police in Tucson, Arizona, responded to the intersection of South 6th Avenue and East Benson Highway for a report of a shooting.

When officers arrived, they found a man with gunshot wounds inside a Jeep that collided with the guardrail, police said. The victim, 22-year-old Marcos Nino, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators said Ninon was driving north when the gunfire was heard. He was shot and it caused him to collide with the guardrail.

This week, police announced they identified as suspect vehicle and arrested Robert Anthony Vasquez, 29, in connection to the incident, according to the Arizona Daily Star. He was charged with first-degree murder and other counts.

Police said Vasquez did not know each other and the shooting happened after an alleged traffic confrontation.
