Mississippi Teenager Allegedly Planned to Kill Her Sleeping Mother for Being 'Weird': Police

A Mississippi teenager has been arrested after she allegedly stabbed her mother for being a “weird b****,” according to authorities.
Around 2:30 a.m. on June 14, officers received a call about a cutting incident at a house in Gulfport, local police said.
Once at the residence, officers found the alleged victim suffering from multiple stab wounds.
Investigators said the victim told them she was asleep but woke up to find her daughter, 15-year-old Lexi Jade Brown, allegedly attacking her with a knife.
The mother was able to fend off the young girl, which is when the teen girl attempted to start a fire inside the house, authorities said.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Law enforcement did not disclose the mother's current condition.
Detectives questioned Brown about the incident and she was forthcoming about the crime, police said, noting the teenage suspect allegedly admitted that she had been planning to kill her mother for quite some time because she thought the older woman was a “weird b****.”
