ASTROLOGY INFLUENCER ALLEGEDLY KILLED PARTNER AND DIED BY SUICIDE HOURS BEFORE SOLAR ECLIPSE

After a violent scuffle, 34-year-old Danielle Johnson allegedly killed her partner and later died by suicide as per a statement released by LAPD. LAPD Topanga Division patrol officers responded to a tip from neighbors on Variel Avenue, about a unit's door being open. They went in for a welfare check only to come across a dead body. After reaching the scene, Homicide detectives got to know about two incidents linked to the death. The first one involved two kids grievously injured after falling out of a car and the other one was about a woman found dead on the driving seat after a collision.

In order to establish a conclusive link between the homicide and the other two incidents, the detectives collaborated with the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the Redondo Beach Police Department, and the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office. Through their findings, they concluded that Johnson got into an argument with her partner 29-year-old Jaelen Chaney before things turned violent and she stabbed him to death. Johnson then took her two kids and fled from the scene after the murder in a dark-colored Porsche SUV. While driving around the 405 Freeway both the children were thrown out of the vehicle. The nine-year-old kid was immediately sent to the hospital for medical assistance while the eight-month-old died on the scene. 

After half an hour of her kids being pushed out of the vehicle, Johnson drove her vehicle at a speed in excess of 100 miles per hour in the city of Redondo Beach, crashed it into a tree, and died on the spot. It is also being speculated that the incident involved the solar eclipse, as per the Times.

Johnson worked as an astrology influencer and provided self-help sessions under the name Danielle Ayoka. She had written many posts regarding the oncoming solar eclipse on her social media. "This eclipse is the epitome of spiritual warfare," Johnson wrote in one post on X April 4. "Get your protection on and your heart in the right place. The world is very obviously changing right now and if you ever needed to pick a side, the time to do right in your life is now." 

Seeing the obsessions the woman had with the eclipse, the investigators are inclined to believe that the event might have some connection to her decision-making. In another post, she shared her belief that the apocalypse is here, and people need to get their beliefs in order to welcome the new change. The investigation is ongoing and authorities will provide any new update in due time.
