Camera Captures Mysterious 'Winged and Horned' Creature in U.K. Zoo, Experts Confirm Not Deer

A zoo in England recently discovered a mysterious creature lurking in its land. This peculiar creature captured by camera traps in Bristol Zoo, has stumped experts and garnered a lot of interest from the netizens, Indy100 reported. Internet users have come up with a ton of speculations regarding the identity of this being.
One theory that generated a lot of support was put out on Reddit, with the person claiming that the creature could be a deer. The zoo authorities looked into the possibility and seemed to have rejected it.

The Bristol Zoo Project announced the discovery on October 22, PEOPLE reported. They posted on Facebook that their camera traps recorded a "mysterious winged and horned creature." The team also put up a picture of the creature. They put up the photo of a muntjac deer alongside the mysterious creature for comparison.
The post implied that there were differences in the features of the muntjac deer and the creature, Indy100 reported.
The website added that the creature was located near Bear Wood habitat, where "bears and wolves live alongside wolverines and lynx," PEOPLE reported. The creature allegedly had four legs, and was nothing like any being the conservation team had spotted before.
The strange creature was located, just when the Bristol Zoo Project's Halloween celebrations were starting, PEOPLE reported. During these celebrations, visitors in the zoo will get the opportunity to see animals from close quarters, and if lucky also view the elusive creature.
Experts have yet to identify the animal but zoo authorities are not worried. "The sighting of this mythical-like creature is a mystery to us here at Bristol Zoo Project and has been a great inspiration for the Halloween trail this year. Scotland has the Loch Ness monster, and Cornwall has the Beast of Bodmin Moor – have we discovered a similar mythical here in Bristol, perhaps?" Rosie Sims, the public engagement manager at Bristol Zoo Project said.
