The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police recently arrested a man named Stefan Jakubov for encouraging his friend to kill during a live video stream, as per 8 News Now. According to reports, while the individuals involved in the scuffle were Jakubov's friends, he continued to egg them on toward murder as the crime unfolded in front of his eyes on FaceTime. The victim was identified as Aaron Chavez, who was found dead in August of last year. In a statement released during that time, the authorities confirmed that Chavez's body was found near a highway in Baker, California when Gino Julian called for a tow truck after his car got stuck in the sand. While trying to pull the vehicle out, two drivers of the tow truck were able to spot the remains in the sand a few feet away.

The body was found in the area of Powerline Road and California State Highway 127 and therefore the case was undertaken by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department (SBCSD).  Gino Julian whose car got stuck in the sand was quickly identified as the person of interest after the investigation, and arrested by SBCSD. It was later revealed that Julian and the victim Chavez were friends who lived in Las Vegas, and this led the authorities to suspect that the killing took place in Julian's home in Las Vegas. After a month-long probe into the case, the LVMPD figured out Jakubov's part in the case.

Messages exchanged between Chavez and Julian revealed that the two were involved in an argument that later turned into an altercation. Chavez texted, “If I’m touched you will be sued.” Julian responded, “Dead men can’t sue,” documents shared. Soon police also found that Julian asked Jakubov for help with suspicious messages such as, “Where should I put on the show?” and “Is there bleach or chlorine?” It turns out that Julian was the one who recorded the entire act of killing, and police were also able to recover clips of the incident. “What does it feel like to be disrespected? It sucks, right?” Julian said as he recorded himself pouring gasoline over Chavez. “I almost feel sorry for him. What else did you think was gonna happen, you know?”

According to another report by the outlet, Jakubov watched it all online as Julian punched Chavez many times and kept on pushing Julian to go on with his sadistic violence with messages such as "Break his face." Now Jakubov has been arrested and charged with two felony charges, including destroying or concealing evidence and harboring, concealing, or aiding a felony offender, along with a gross misdemeanor charge of conspiracy to commit battery resulting in substantial bodily harm.
