JPMorgan Chase & Co is making headlines after a former employee of the company filed a lawsuit against executive director Lorna Hajdini, accusing her of s—-- harassment. In the complaint, the employee stated that Hajdini threatened his career and coerced him to get into bed with her. While the complainant seeks damages for lost earnings, reputational harm, and emotional distress, Hajdini has denied the allegations. The bank has also rejected the claims following an internal investigation.

But JPMorgan Chase & Co. is not the only company that has been involved in controversy following s—-- assault allegations against its senior employee. Multiple major companies have faced similar lawsuits in recent years.

A former employee of JPMorgan has filed a lawsuit against executive director Lorna Hajdini.

In 2021, Elon Musk-owned Tesla faced a scandal when employee Jessica Barraza sued the company, alleging that she faced frequent catcalling and unwanted touching at its Fremont factory. The lawsuit also stated that the accused retaliated against those who complained. The case is still ongoing.

Apart from Barraza, more than 50 other workers have reported similar incidents of harassment and discrimination at Tesla factories. In November 2025, another former employee filed a lawsuit, alleging that she was r—-- by her supervisor at Tesla’s Gigafactory in Nevada, and was fired days later.

Another major firm that came under scrutiny due to harassment allegations is Uber. In 2017, former software engineer Susan Fowler wrote in a blog post that she faced s—-- abuse and discrimination within the company. She also alleged that supervisors behaved inappropriately and HR refused to take action on her complaints.

The blog post prompted an internal investigation led by former U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder. Uber then fired more than 20 employees and introduced cultural reforms in its workspaces. Then-CEO Travis Kalanick also resigned amid mounting pressure.

Similar Accusations Against Google

Tech giant Google has also faced allegations of harassment and workplace misconduct involving senior executives. In 2018, a New York Times report suggested that Android creator Andy Rubin received a $90 million exit package from the company despite being accused of s—-- misconduct.

More than 20,000 employees then staged a walkout against the move. Two years later, Google’s parent company, Alphabet, agreed to a $310 million settlement to resolve lawsuits that alleged the company mishandled harassment and discrimination claims.

In 2018, Nike, the world's largest supplier of athletic shoes, faced criticism over s—-- harassment and gender discrimination in its workplace. Several female employees filed complaints, citing inappropriate behavior by male colleagues and managers. The allegations triggered internal investigations, which eventually led to the departure of several senior executives. Nike settled the class-action lawsuit in 2025, seven years later.

Media company Fox News also faced a scandal in 2016 after anchor Gretchen Carlson sued CEO Roger Ailes, alleging that he fired her for refusing his s—-- advances. Dozens of other women, including Megyn Kelly, then came forward with similar allegations against Ailes and host Bill O’Reilly. 21st Century Fox had to pay a $20 million settlement to Carlson. The company paid another $13 million to settle five different cases against O’Reilly.
