Four Juveniles Wounded, One Girl Dead in Georgia After Boy, 17, Opens Fire at After-Prom Party: Officials

Investigators in Georgia said a 17-year-old has been arrested for a shooting that occurred at an after-prom party that left a 15-year-old girl dead.
Around 1 a.m. on April 28, officers from the Fitzgerald Police responded to reports of gunfire in downtown Fitzgerald and found five people shot, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
Chyell Paulk was transported to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead, officials said.
According to WALB, other victims included a 19-year-old woman, who has since been released from the hospital, and two boys, ages 14 and 15.
Another 15-year-old male was airlifted to a hospital in Macon, where he is in critical condition.
Police announced that Channen Brown was arrested in connection with the shooting and charged with felony murder, three counts of aggravated assault, and one count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, authorities said.
