A month after a man was found shot to death in the middle of the street, police said they arrested a suspect.
On Nov. 9, police in Dothan, Alabama, responded to Miles Lane for a report of a victim lying in the middle of the road.
Police arrived and found the victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim was identified as 35-year-old Samuel Jeffrey Gray, police said.
He died from a gunshot wound to the torso.
Authorities did not release a motive in the case. But investigators identified 21-year-old Kevone Devontay Smith as a suspect.
He turned himself in to police last week and has been charged with capital murder and two counts of intimidating a witness.
