A dispute over a social media post led to a woman needing hospital care and four people facing burglary charges, according to reports.

This week, police in Opelika, Alabama, announced the arrests of Ladiamond Detrianna Ferguson, 28, Shunedra Quinshay Edwards, 29, Twyla Kaneisha Cooper, 32, and Alisha Montranise James, 30.

Around 2:45 p.m. on Oct. 25, police responded to a home and found a woman suffering from injuries to her hands and face. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment, police said.

The suspect allegedly broke into the woman’s house and assaulted her, according to WRBL.

The four broke in after an argument over a social media post, according to the report. There was no word on what the contained in the post.

The suspects were all charged with second-degree burglary and second-degree assault.
