Amid Dispute Between FBI And Arizona Sheriff, Savannah Guthrie Drops Emotional Post For Missing Mother Nancy

Mother’s Day turned emotional for Savannah as her mom Nancy continues to remain missing
The Pima County Sheriff’s Office and the FBI became embroiled in a dispute after Kash Patel blamed local authorities for mishandling the crucial first hours after Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance. It has been nearly four months since the elderly woman went missing, and so far, no breakthrough has been made by investigative teams from either agency.
Meanwhile, the Guthrie family continues to appeal to the public for any information about their mother, who disappeared from her Arizona home. Recently, Today show host Savannah Guthrie expressed her grief in an emotional Mother’s Day post.
Savannah Guthrie Urges For Immediate Help
Through an Instagram post on May 10, Savannah Guthrie shared a collage of clips featuring her mother Nancy’s happier moments. These included times the missing woman spent with family, friends and grandchildren, as well as throwback memorabilia from her younger days.
In an emotional caption, Savannah remembered the different roles the 83-year-old woman played in everyone’s lives. She said the family would never stop looking for her. However, the television presenter also urged anyone with crucial information about Nancy to come forward and help the family.
In her words, “mother, daughter, sister, Nonie - we miss you with every breath. We will never stop looking for you. We will never be at peace until we find you. We need help. Someone knows something that can make the difference. Call 1800CALLFBI. You can be anonymous, and the reward remains available. Please keep praying. Bring her home.”

Why No Suspect Has Been Narrowed In Disappearance Case
The investigative teams on the disappearance case have so far deduced that the woman was kidnapped from her house in the middle of the night. But the abductor allegedly only took Nancy away, leaving behind all her valuables intact at her Arizona residence.
Right after the FBI stepped in for the investigation, doorbell camera footage was successfully recovered. It featured a masked man on the front porch of the elderly woman’s house. He carried a backpack and was seen suspiciously moving in the premises, trying to enter the house.
But since the man had covered his face, no suspects could be identified despite this crucial link.
Truth Behind Human Remains Found In Tucson
Amid the gradually deepening mystery of Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance, an independent streamer on the lookout for clues in the case stumbled upon human remains in Tucson. The individual was live-streaming his search when he spotted a human bone within a less than 5-mile radius from Guthrie’s home.
The YouTuber, Alec Wysopal, wasted no time in informing the authorities immediately. Officers from the Tucson Police Department rushed to the spot and cordoned off the area with crime scene tape. Since the discovery was publicly made, it immediately gave rise to grim speculation about Nancy’s fate.
The authorities later investigated and confirmed that the human bone found was more than 50 years old. It was quite likely to be prehistoric. It was nowhere linked with the disappearance case of the 83-year-old woman.
The Tucson Police Department, in their statement, clarified, “This will be a prehistoric anthropological investigation. The University of Arizona’s Anthropology Department and the Pima County Office of the Medical Examiner assisted. This is not a criminal investigation.”
