Lule was arrested and charged with Jojola’s murder.

“I was like, ‘That’s my husband! Let me get to him. I got to get to him,’" the victim’s wife, Brandy Allen, said of learning about the deadly incident. "I didn’t believe it. I couldn’t believe it happened.”

According to Allen, the victim knew someone in the suspect’s family and the two men had gotten into arguments in the past, but she pointed out that “there is not a reason in this world to take his life.”

KDFW reported that the suspect was on probation at the time and has a lengthy criminal history that includes everything from assault to drug charges.
