Investigators learned Clark checked into a hotel room in nearby Laughlin, Nevada, after the murder and had traveled to Bullhead City from Oregon in a rental car.

The rental car was seen leaving the crime scene, according to police.

Police in the Las Vegas area arrested Clark during a traffic stop after he left his hotel room, according to Bullhead City police. Inside his car, they found items belonging to Hannah and ammunition similar to those found at the crime scene.

Clark is being held in a Las Vegas jail and charged with homicide. Investigators have not released a possible motive for the killing.
