Brittni Gray, a 23-year-old Arkansas woman, had a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old boy, which resulted in Gray becoming pregnant.
Police have now charged her in connection to the relationship.
Paragould police first received a tip on Feb. 28, 2020, from the Arkansas Child Abuse Hotline, according to KATV. The first tip stated that Gray and the teenager were having a sexual relationship together.
The police received another hotline tip on Sept. 29. This witness claimed they saw Gray and the boy having sex. The police interviewed the second witness on Jan. 22, and the witness said Gray and the alleged victim were having sex for about a year.
In the affidavit, and reported by KATV, police stated, “The witness stated that the alleged offender is currently pregnant with the victim’s child.”
That led police to get medical records from a hospital, which confirmed that Gray was pregnant.
Video footage was also obtained from the hospital, according to court documents. This footage showed the alleged victim and the alleged offender going into the hospital together during a recent visit to the emergency room.
Gray was arrested on Monday and is currently being held in the Greene County Detention Center in Arkansas without bond on a charge of fourth-degree sexual assault.
