Woman stabbed her teenage son to death, police in Arkansas say

A woman in Arkansas stabbed her teenage son to death, police said.

Rebecca Lynn Henley, 44, was arrested on March 20 in connection to the case, according to Fox 16.

Police in Mountain Home, Arkansas, responded to a home after a reported stabbing, according to the report. There, they found a 16-year-old with a stab wound to the chest.

The victim was Henley’s son, according to Fox 16.


The boy was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Henley was arrested and charged with first-degree murder. She is being held in the Baxter County jail on $500,000 bond, according to Fox 16.

Investigators have not said what led to the stabbing.
