A 65-year-old man faces a manslaughter charge after he stabbed a person to death this week, police said.
This week, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office was called to an apartment in Holly Grove, Arkansas. There, they found Cedric Earl Hampton, 54, dead.
The victim had stab wounds and died at the scene, according to Arkansas State Police.
Officers at the scene took another occupant into custody. That person was identified as Nelson Morrow, 65.
Investigators have not said what led to the stabbing or why they charged Morrow in connection to the case.
Morrow was charged with manslaughter and was being held in an Arkansas jail without bail.
