Georgia Woman Accused of Killing Her 84-Year-Old Father During Armed Robbery At His Business

A Georgia woman was arrested in connection with the death of her father nearly three years ago, authorities announced.
Erelah Vardikos, 49, faces a murder charge for the shooting death of her 84-year-old father, Nicholas Vardikos, WALB reported.
According to the station, in June 2020, the elderly victim was found dead at USA Food Mart, the business he owned in Albany.
The man’s daughter was identified as a suspect and arrested following the yearslong investigation, according to the Albany Police Department.
She faces multiple charges that include murder, armed robbery, tampering with evidence, and conspiracy to commit a crime.
She reportedly was being held in the Dougherty County jail.
