A jury has convicted a Pittsburgh man of squeezing his girlfriend’s daughter to death while babysitting, officials announced.
Kyrell Morgan, 20, recently was found guilty of third-degree murder for the death of 2-year-old Brielle Swinton, WPXI reported.

During the trial, Morgan testified in his own defense and insisted he “never hurt” the toddler “in any way shape or form.”
An autopsy determined the child’s death in 2021 was the result of someone using extreme force to squeeze the child enough to break her ribs as well as cause lacerations to her organs.
According to WPXI, prosecutors claimed that after Brielle died, Morgan googled “what all comes out in an autopsy” and he texted the baby’s mother and claimed “Brielle said I gave her boo-boos, and I squished her.”
