A recent video of a biker gang from New York dragging a man for allegedly hurling racial slurs and forcing him to apologize has gained mixed reaction on the Internet. Some people have praised the incident, while others have criticized it. The video has divided viewers online.
The incident occurred on February 9 at a popular seafood shack located in City Island, Bronx, New York. A normal day for the people eating their food turned chaotic when a man allegedly used a racial slur. The word was directed towards a Black man who was peacefully siting and eating his food at the shack.
A viral video of the incident has surfaced on the Internet. Several users have posted the video on X. According to the video, after the man who used the slur walked out, the incident took a dramatic turn.
A biker gang that was present at the location took notice of the situation and followed the man out. After following him out, the gang grabbed the man by the back of his shirt and dragged him back inside and forced him to apologize.
The members of the biker gang are known as "Lords of the Kingdom, Duchess N. V." According to a video posted by a man who narrated the whole incident and what was about to happen. The man recording the video said "They are going to make you say sorry."
The locals present at the restaurant praised the biker gang as one the members pushed the man toward the restaurant where the incident took place. The video then shifted to the scene where the man apologized to the Black man who was still eating.
Although the full apology was not captured, the video showcased the biker gang member still tightly holding the back of the shirt of the man. The member held his shirt until he apologized for being racist.
Soon after he apologized, he was asked to leave and never come back to the restaurant. The video of the incident has now crossed more than 800,000 views, sparking a sharp debate. The internet is divided on their opinion about the whole incident.
Several comments have emerged online. One of the users stated that "If every American stood up like this, we would stomp racism,". Another user said "Let's make it a trend for everyone, no matter the race..."
Another user supporting the incident stated, "Happy to see this during the black history month." While the fourth user said while sharing a GIF " America might not be lost after all , give me hope. "
The comment section of the video was filled with people praising the biker gang for stepping into the situation and making the racist person apologize.
While many people praised the incident, many had an opposing view of this situation. A user pointed out that, "No matter what she can put into your own hands is dangerous...". Another user commented that "This is Highway justice, making someone apologize without concrete proof is completely wrong. "
