“Bloody Walls”: Man Stabbed To Death and Girlfriend Slashed in Queens Apartment

A shocking incident has been reported in New Year City, where a man was brutally stabbed, and his girlfriend was slashed in a frantic attack. The incident left the walls of their Queens apartment covered in blood, as reported by authorities and neighbours.

The incident took place on April 12, and EMS, police and officers from the 102nd Precinct responded at 101-11 86th Ave. in Richmond Hill around 2:24 a.m. They found the 41-year-old man fatally stabbed in the chest. Meanwhile, his 32-year-old girlfriend had a slash across her arm.

According to the New York Post, the woman could not identify the assailant.

Although not much information has been released by police yet, neighbors living in the same building have described what they heard.

Orzigul Abdulloeva, 77, who lives in the building, told the Post, “I stepped out into the hallway with my robe. I heard a lot of noise. I thought someone was moving. There was running, screaming, they were definitely fighting.”

Meanwhile, the building's superintendent, Slava S., 70, said he witnessed the aftermath of the attack, including blood on the walls of the apartment.

“I was standing behind the police when they opened the door, and I saw blood sprayed on the walls,” Slava said. He added that he did not know the couple well, since they were new to the building, who moved in two weeks ago.

After the incident, both victims were taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where the man was pronounced dead. Meanwhile, the woman is in stable condition, according to officials.

Not much has been reported about the incident, but police said the investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made. Police also do not know the reason behind the attack. They are currently searching for the man, who was seen fleeing the scene wearing a gray hoodie.

Unfortunately, the crime in the 102 Precinct has been dangerously up. As of April 1, murder in the precinct is up by 100%, with three slayings recorded since the beginning of the year compared to the same number in 2025.
