Investigative filmmaker Jeremy Corbell has made claims about a purported Royal Air Force (RAF) encounter with a UFO over Syria. reported that Corbell, known for his involvement in leaked UFO videos involving the U.S. military, alleges that an RAF jet opened fire on an unknown craft in December 2021.

Corbell claims the first picture of what he suggests to be a mysterious object has been released.

In a recent podcast with journalist George Knapp, Corbell casts doubt on the official version of the encounter, which asserts that the object fired upon was a "hostile terrorist drone," according to GOV.UK.

In a Nov. 14 post on X, Corbell claims it was an Unidentified Anomalous Phenomenon (UAP) and says that the object's origin is unknown.

Corbell notes that despite the official story, secret intelligence reports label the image as a UAP associated with the air-to-air missile shooting incident that took place on Dec. 14, 2021, over Syria.

While Corbell lacks credible proof to support his claims, he highlights that the United States Central Command has been tracking UAPs for the past 15 years.

He alleges that there have been recent and regular incidents where both Russia and the United States have fired weapons at UFOs.

He claims videos of these aerial engagements exist and vows that as a testimony to his convictions, he is ready to face Congress in his bid to break down the secrecy and stigma surrounding the UFO topic.

This is not the first time Corbell has made such sensational claims. Earlier this year, he released footage of a supposed black triangular UFO flying over California's Mojave Desert.

The object, said to be half the size of a football field, was spotted near a U.S. military training range and camp.

Illumination rounds were reportedly fired at it, and a three-hour search was conducted but no proof was found. The incident is said to have been reported to the Pentagon's new UFO investigation unit. recently covered the portal's unveiling.

This particular incident had numerous witnesses, some of whom were Marines, and the sighting was reportedly captured on six separate videos.

According to the servicemen who witnessed the incident, the alleged UAP hovered in place for what was about 10 minutes between 8:24 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. local time on April 20, 2021.

The sighting was allegedly so visible that the troops were inclined to fire flares at the object, but before they could make any headway, the large celestial entity vanished without a trace.
