A South Carolina man is accused of killing his brother with a baseball bat.
Shortly before 5 p.m. on April 9, the Richland County Sheriff’s Department responded to a home about an unresponsive man, WLTX reported.
At the residence, deputies found the 40-year-old victim dead in the backyard.
The man’s sibling, Samuel Dantzler, 41, was arrested in connection with the slaying and now faces a murder charge, authorities said.
Investigators alleged Dantzler used a baseball bat to fatally attack his younger sibling.
Dantzler was being held at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center in Columbia, according to WMBF.
The investigation is ongoing.
