A husband is accused of killing his wife more than a year ago, according to police.
On May 20, the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office in California announced the arrest of Christopher Carlson, 44. He is accused of killing his wife Chenin Carlson.
Chenin Carlson was found dead in the California Aqueduct on Dec. 20, 2020, according to the sheriff’s office.
Police investigated and identified Christopher Carlson as a suspect. An arrest warrant was issued last week for his arrest. He was found in Lathrop, California and arrested last week.
Investigators have not said how they connected him to the case or released a possible motive.
Deputies charged Christopher Carlson with murder and he is being held in the San Joaquin County jail.
