Texas Couple Indicted For Murder Of 9-Year-Old Girl Last August, Officials Say

A couple in Texas now faces murder charges in connection with the death of a 9-year-old girl last summer, authorities said.

Police in Brownwood arrested Dawn Faith Hill-Flesner, 47, the mother of the alleged victim, HardiQuinn Hill, on Sept. 27. Hill-Flesner’s 42-year-old partner, Jamie Faye Anderson, was also taken into custody at the time, KTAB reported.

Both women were originally each charged with tampering/fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair, and a capital murder charge was added to the counts at their Dec. 17 indictments.

On Aug. 22, HardiQuinn Hill was rushed to an area hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.

Authorities have not released further details about the ongoing investigation.
