Chilling Footage Captures ‘Brazen’ Gunman Opening Fire in Fatal Easter Sunday NYC Sidewalk Shooting

Brazen Gunman Kills One
A brutal shootout in Brooklyn on Easter Sunday had left two victims, one dead and the other critically injured. Authorities have revealed that the suspect is a Honduran national. He was charged with murder on Monday.
The incident unfolded on Sunday evening outside a building on Fulton Street in Cypress Hills, as reported by sources and the NYPD. Both victims were taken to Brookdale University Medical Center.

Brooklyn Shootout Leave Two Victims
The suspect has been identified as Michael Mendoza Cardona, 24. Following the incident, the young man has been charged with murder, attempted murder and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon.
As seen in the surveillance footage, the brutal shooting occurred underneath the J-train subway platform between Cleveland and Elton streets. Cardona was seen shooting Jose, 30, and Urena Moran, 50.
The clip showed the two men standing on the sidewalk a little way from a group of three men. One of the two men was seen saying something to the group. That’s when the alleged suspect whipped out his gun. He pointed it at the man and then calmly fired several shots at him and the other man standing beside him.
One Pronounced Dead After Brooklyn Shootout
Gunman Kills One, Another In Critical Condition
The footage further showed the killer continuing to attack the two men even when they were lying on the sidewalk. According to police, after the victims were taken to the hospital, Moran, the 50-year-old, was pronounced dead.
The investigation is currently going on. It remains unclear whether Mendoza Cardona, who has been identified as a Honduran national, was living in the U.S. illegally. The investigation is currently going on.
