The woman said the suspect, later identified as Bears, pointed a gun at her as he made the threats to dispatchers, authorities said. He then pointed the gun at the 3-year-old child.

The woman fled the home and reported hearing gunshots. Police said the two victims were not hurt in the incident.

Deputies surrounded the home and had to use a Taser to take Bears into custody.
