Missing Colorado woman found murdered in New Mexico, two suspects charged, police say

Two men face charges in connection to the murder of a woman who was reported missing in Colorado last month.
Sean Pearce, 54, and Roy Slagle, 52, were arrested this week by Pueblo police in connection to the death of Amber Deck. Slagle faces charges of first-degree murder and Pearce faces a charge of accessory to first-degree murder, according to Pueblo police.
Deck, 33, was reported missing on May 22 out of Pueblo, Colorado.
She was found dead along a road in Pecos, New Mexico, on May 21 and police there started a homicide investigation. Her identity was unknown when she was found along the road, according to Pueblo police.
The investigation determined that Deck was killed at a business in Pueblo, Colorado, and then taken to New Mexico, where she was dumped.
Police did not release how the two men were identified as suspects, if they have any ties to the victim or the motive for the alleged killing.
Slagle has an extensive criminal history, including arrests for aggravated robbery with intent to kill, burglary and felony menacing, according to Pueblo police.
