On June 11, police responded to the Colorado Springs store and found the teen dead in the break room.

Whitelaw had a neck injury and there was blood all over the room, according to KKTV.

One of the managers who called 911 said Riley went into the break room earlier in the day and never returned, according to the report. That is when he checked the room and found the dead teen.

Johnson was arrested the next day about 100 miles from the crime scene. He told state troopers he was attacked in the incident, according to the report. But police learned he was a suspect and arrested him.
