Danny Masterson To Kaalan Walker: Five Popular Celebs Behind Bars With Massive Charges

Five Hollywood celebs who can never walk free from the jail
Hollywood has seen several cases in which actors and performers crossed the line from misconduct into criminal behavior. As a result, some were drawn into repeated court appearances and, in some cases, spent years behind bars.
From felony convictions to lengthy prison sentences, many celebrities have faced legal troubles that permanently altered their lives. Here are five once-popular stars for whom returning to a normal life may be difficult.
Isaiah Stokes
Isaiah Stokes rose to fame through appearances in multiple television series, including Law & Order. His life took a dramatic turn in 2025 when he was convicted in the killing of Tyrone Jones.
Prosecutors said Stokes had an altercation with the 37-year-old victim at a birthday party at a Queens club in October 2020, after which he was removed from the venue.
Authorities said Stokes then carried out a calculated act of revenge by placing a GPS tracking device on Jones’ vehicle and monitoring him for about a week. On the afternoon of Feb. 7, 2021, prosecutors said he stepped out of a parked SUV and fired 11 shots into the victim’s car.
Tyrone Jones was pronounced dead at the scene after suffering multiple gunshot wounds to the head and chest. Following a two-week trial, Stokes was found guilty of second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon. He was sentenced to 25 years to life in prison.
Danny Masterson
Men At Work actor Danny Masterson got embroiled in a serious crime and faced criminal charges in 2023. He was convicted of se**** abusing two women back in 2003. He was sentenced to serve 30 years to life behind bars for his crimes.
Masterson faced gradual se**** assault charges as multiple women began filing lawsuits against him in 2017. For instance, when a third case of abuse was recorded in his name, it ended up creating a hung jury. During the trial, Masterson pleaded not guilty, and his attorney accused the victims of carefully colluding against the actor.
Following a series of trials and retrials, Masterson was sentenced to the maximum sentence allowed by law for his crimes. He was moved to the California Men’s Colony jail, where he continues to reside to date.
Ali Abulaban
Popular TikToker Ali Abulaban has been serving a life sentence for the murder of his 28-year-old estranged wife Ana and her friend Rayburn Barron. A California jury found him guilty of two counts of first-degree murder back in May 2024.
He was sentenced for murders in September 2024, along with an additional 50 years to life on grounds of gun enhancement charges. His sentence comes with no possibility of parole.
Ali Abulaban had shot dead Ana and Rayburn at their San Diego apartment on October 21, 2021. Prosecutors found evidence that the TikToker spied on his estranged wife by installing a listening app on their daughter’s iPad.
Although the duo had remained on the outs, Abulaban reportedly vandalized the apartment due to a fit of rage. But in the defense of his actions, the accused artist claimed that he simply snapped and was suffering from a drug addiction.
Michael Jace
Former American actor Michael Jace went through a murder trial for killing his wife, April Jace, who happened to be a track and field athlete. Back in May 2024, LAPD arrested him at his Hyde Park residence.
Before Jace dialed 911 and confessed to murdering his wife, the police had already received a report of domestic violence from his residence. When cops arrived, they found April dead from gunshot wounds. When the officers questioned Jace about his wife’s condition, he openly admitted murdering her. A day later, he was arrested on suspicion of murder.
On May 22, 2014, the Los Angeles DA's Office formally charged him with second-degree murder. Later on, by June 10, 2016, the actor was sentenced to 40 years to life in prison. He was lodged at the Corcoran State Prison thereafter, where he continues to stay.
Kaalan Walker
Actor and popular rapper Kaalan Walker found himself criminally convicted in April 2022 for three counts of forcible ra**, one count of assault to commit oral copulation and two counts of statutory ra** by intoxication. However, he was later acquitted of two charges and sentenced to 50 years to life in prison.
For the unversed, it was in September 2018 when Walker was arrested in Los Angeles for committing a series of se**** assaults on four aspiring models. He pursued these victims on social media since 2016 and promised them work opportunities, which were merely pretext of fulfilling his needs.
While Walker was initially released on a $1 million bail bond, he was re-arrested in March 2019 after six more victims accused him of similar misconduct.
