An Alabama Man Used a Dating App to Lure His Target. He Then Shot Him in the Head During a Robbery Gone Wrong.

An Alabama man was found guilty of killing a man three years ago during a robbery gone wrong, authorities said.

A jury in Mobile convicted Sabronte Rhodes, 45, for the fatal shooting of Johnny Soehkies, the Mobile County District Attorney’s Office said, WALA reported.

Soehkies’ body was found near a storm drain in October 2019. He had been shot in the head.

According to the Mobile County Sheriff’s office, Rhodes lured Soehkies with the dating app Grindr and then murdered him during the robbery attempt.
