O’Connor’s accomplice, Christopher Thomas Williams, 39, of Indianapolis, was found guilty last March of attempted murder, criminal confinement, intimidation, theft and criminal mischief.

He was also sentenced to 38 years in prison.

According to the Star Press, on June 12, 2018, the victim dropped off her children at a daycare facility in Indianapolis. Williams and O’Connor then abducted her.

As O’Connor drove on an area freeway, Williams severely beat the victim, choked her unconscious and then threw her into a ditch in Henry County.

The injured woman lay in the ravine until someone heard her screams for help the following day, WXIN reported.
