Two men were found dead in North Carolina on the day after Christmas, and a suspect has been arrested, police said.
Around 3:30 p.m. on Dec. 26., the Dare County Sheriff’s office was dispatched to the 100 block of Etheridge Road in Manteo, North Carolina.
Michael Berry, 35, was found dead at the scene, and investigators determined his death to be a homicide, according to the Dare County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies determined the suspect was Jack Wise III, 37, who was taken into custody.
Dare County deputies contacted Currituck County deputies and requested a search for Norwood Armstrong, 68, who was reported missing.
Police found Armstrong’s body in the woods of the nearby Grandy area of North Carolina, according to the sheriff's office.
Investigators have not released a possible motive or said how Wise allegedly knew the suspects.
Wise has been charged with two counts of felony first-degree murder and is being held at the Dare County Detention Center without bond.
