A 3-year-old with disabilities was found dead in a Texas home and now two relatives face charges, according to a report.
Around 7:30 a.m., police in Port Arthur, Texas, found the child dead at a home, according to KBMT. The child was found in an “extremely emaciated” condition, according to the report.
Police did not say how the child sustained his injuries or his disability. The name of the victim was not released.
The child’s mother, Tina Louis, 43, and sister Kristen Louis, 21, were both arrested in connection to the case.
They were both charged with first-degree injury to a child and booked into a Texas jail.
The incident remains under investigation.
