Around 7:20 p.m. on April 29, officers with the Fulton Police Department responded to a call about a crash involving injuries. The caller told dispatchers that Domino’s delivery driver was “upset” and struck the customer with his car before leaving the scene.
When officers arrived at the home in the 500 block of Bluff Street, they spoke with the victim and a witness. The victim said that Walton was “upset over not receiving a tip.” He allegedly got into a verbal dispute with the victim and the witness. The situation escalated quickly, and the delivery driver “intentionally drove his vehicle forward and struck” the customer.

Police said that the victim was sent onto the hood after being hit and sustained visible injuries to his hand. Security footage from a nearby residence showed Walton “initiating the confrontation by yelling profanities” at the victim and the witness.
He allegedly called them “f------ rude.” Before walking back to his car, the attacker yelled, “What are you going to dumb b—?” As seen in the footage obtained by police, Walton then reversed his car towards the roadway before shifting into drive and accelerating forward toward the customer.
Victim Suffers Injuries in His Hand
Walton previously served jail time over assault charges.
According to a probable cause affidavit from the Fulton Police Department, the victim was not blocking the car when the delivery driver drove at him. The victim told officers that he had sustained some injuries in his hand. He also said he might have suffered scrapes on his shin after getting hit.
Walton allegedly fled the scene “at a high rate of speed” after hitting the victim. He was later located at a local Domino’s, where police arrested him after admitting to driving toward the victim. Although he acknowledged that he fled the scene, Walton claimed that he only drove toward the customer to “scare him.”
He is currently being held in the Callaway County Jail without bail. Authorities said that he has a prior conviction in Callaway County for domestic assault and false imprisonment. He previously served jail time over those charges.
