Ex-Trump Aide Plunges Into MAGA Civil War With Brutal Clapback

Former White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham and far-right influencer Laura Loomer are once again clashing on social media. The dispute began with an online exchange between Loomer and former Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene.

Greene posted on X criticizing President Donald Trump, prompting a response from Loomer, a long time supporter of the president. Greene then criticized Loomer's appearance, claiming she had undergone plastic surgery and weight loss to achieve a ‘Fox News look.’

Loomer, 32, accused Greene of bodyshaming her, writing “Now she’s attacking my appearance and my weight. Oh well. We can’t all be 10s with perfect bodies, but at least I’m not a traitor. I’ve always been a loyal woman.”

Grisham, 49, then joined the exchange, referencing a past post in which Loomer criticized her appearance.“Yes. Attacking someone’s appearance is an a—--- move for sure,” Grisham wrote.

The earlier post was published in August 2024 after Grisham endorsed Kamala Harris for president at the Democratic National Convention. Loomer criticized the endorsement, writing, “Stephanie Grisham really hit the wall. Another traitor who got rich off Donald Trump and then turned on him on J6. I guess she started eating uncontrollably ever since she quit Trump. She must have gained about 75 pounds since she ‘resigned’. Now she’s voting for Kamala Harris.”

The comment sparked controversy, and multiple social media users called out Loomer for weight-shaming Grisham. Meanwhile, Grisham later responded publicly, saying she had experienced weight changes during menopause.

Loomer responded writing, “Stop eating carbs and you will lose the weight. You are just lacking personal accountability and motivation to be healthy and blaming it on a natural bodily function.” The dispute resurfaced earlier in 2026.

Grisham was a prominent supporter of Trump during his first term as president. She served as a press aide during his 2016 presidential campaign and was later appointed as White House press secretary and communications director.

From 2020 to 2021, Grisham served as chief of staff and press secretary for First Lady Melania Trump. However, she resigned following the January 6 Capitol attack in 2021. Grisham later testified that Trump encouraged supporters to go to the Capitol.

She also said Melania Trump declined a request to issue a public condemnation of the violence. Grisham resigned hours after the attack.

Loomer is a conservative political activist know for controversial statements and online activism. Many consider her an ‘informal adviser’ to Trump, who wields significant influence over the President.
