A Woman Called 911 After Falling And Injuring Her Head On A Door. Then, EMS Found A Bullet Lodged In Her Skull.

A man in Iowa was arrested for attempted murder after emergency responders discovered an injured woman had a bullet in her head.
According to authorities, shortly before 10 p.m. on Feb. 4, the woman in Grand Junction phoned 911 to report she had fallen and was injured after she hit her head against a door.
When EMS showed up, personnel discovered the woman had what appeared to be a gunshot wound to the back of her head, KCCI reported.
The following morning, officers arrested Adam Eugene Coy, 31, and booked him into the Greene County jail.
In addition to the attempted murder charge, Coy also faces counts of willful injury causing serious injury, and domestic abuse.

According to reports, the victim was treated and is recovering from injuries sustained in the suspected shooting attack.
Officials have not released the name of the victim in the case.
