Police say a Georgia man has been arrested after his young daughters were found dead inside a burning car.
On March 30, Webster County officials were called to a home in Preston regarding a report of a car on fire, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
Webster County Fire Chief Cody Brown told WALB, “My guys were told on the way to the call that there were two children in the car. They got on scene, pulled lines and extinguished the fire.”
After the fire was out, firefighters located a 3-year-old girl and 1-year-old girl deceased inside the vehicle, officials said.
Investigators determined the girls’ father, 36-year-old Adan Panzo, allegedly set the car on fire while he was in a domestic dispute with his wife.
Panzo was arrested and charged with felony murder, malice murder and arson, officials said.

“It’s really sad to hear that a one year old and a three year old lost their life,” a resident in the community told WALB. “They’re not even out in the world just yet. They’re not even able to understand or comprehend what was going on. I couldn’t imagine what they were feeling during that situation.”
