A 31-year-old man from California, identified as Marshall Judson, has been charged with three counts of murder in connection with the deaths of 25-year-old Jennifer Loera-Zarco and 26-year-old Marc Anthony Trejo Saldivar and their unborn child, according to the Pomona Police Department.
Officers with the Pomona Police Department said they responded to a domestic violence call at about 9:30 p.m. on April 1. Police had identified Judson as the suspect in the domestic violence call at the 400 block of East 10th Street. While officers were speaking to the victim, Judson then arrived at the scene in his truck.

According to Pomona Police Department authorities, Judson was driving recklessly and “intentionally struck” a vehicle before fleeing the scene. Police then began chasing him southbound on Garey Avenue, where he crashed into a car carrying the two victims. While fleeing police, Judson crashed into a Ford Fusion with Loera-Zarco and Trejo Saldivar inside. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene. The woman was pregnant and was due to give birth in a few days. Authorities said the unborn child also did not survive the crash.
Judson was arrested after the crash, according to the Pomona Police Department. Authorities also said they found a gun and other “miscellaneous firearm components,” police wrote. Police also said that Judson does not have a valid driver’s license.
In an interview, the victim’s family have mentioned the unimaginable loss that they are going through. They have also made a GoFundMe account to raise money for the victims who lost their lives in this tragic accident.
“This unimaginable loss has left our family heartbroken,” wrote Trejo Saldivar’s cousin in the GoFundMe account’s description, which has raised around $ 45,000 as of April 5th afternoon.
Marc Anthonry was a kind, loving and genuine person who meant so much to everyone who knew him. Jennifer was just a special person full of love, warmth, and kindness. Together, they were building a future and excited to welcome their baby boy into this world,” read the description in the GoFundMe account.
The families of the victims held a vigil on the night of April 3rd. Loera-Zarco’s sister wanted to make sure no one in the family forgets the unborn child. The family mentioned that Loera-Zarco was eight and a half months pregnant.
