An argument outside a Florida 7-Eleven ended with one person shot dead and another facing murder charges.
Last week, the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office in Florida announced it charged Jonathan Mark Rentillo, 22, with second-degree murder. He was initially charged with unlicensed carrying of a concealed firearm, but the charge was upgraded.
Around 1 a.m. on Sept. 5, deputies responded to a shooting in the parking lot of a 7-Eleven/Sunoco.
When deputies arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital and later died from his injuries.
Investigators revealed the shooting happened after an argument.
Police found Rentillo at a nearby mobile home park and he was taken into custody. He is being held in jail without bond.
