Marchlewski will Spend His Entire Life in Prison

Marchlewski will spend the rest of his life in prison. He was arrested in May 2023 after objectionable content involving children was found on his phone. At the time, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) tipped law enforcement about a person who had uploaded child s—-- abuse material online.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) then launched an investigation and concluded that Marchlewski was the user who had uploaded the content. FDLE obtained a warrant to search his home and seized his phone. Detectives then analyzed the phone and found s—-- abuse material on it.

Notably, Marchlewski was already a registered s– offender at that time. He was taken into custody along with 19 other men as part of a Marion County Sheriff’s Office sting operation named Operation M.A.P. Mirage. M.A.P. was an acronym for minor-attracted persons.

Most of these men, aged between 22 and 79, allegedly attempted to meet and abuse children. However, they were unaware that detectives were posing as children online to expose them. Following the arrests, Marion County Sheriff Billy Woods released a statement, expressing disgust over the crimes.

“I am disgusted and dismayed that there are people in this world who seek to harm innocent children. I will never stop devoting every resource I have at my disposal to bring to justice anyone trying to harm a child in my county. I am grateful for the dedication of each participant in this operation and their work to get these vile individuals into my jail,” Woods said.

State Attorney Calls Out Marchlewski

Returning to the case, State Attorney Bill Gladson revealed that he possessed videos showing young children being abused, including one involving a child under two. The attorney called this mentality 'sickening.'

“Of the disturbing videos this defendant possessed of very young children being s—---- abused, one was less than two years old – just a toddler. The mere thought of someone abusing a toddler, or any child, for their own s—-- gratification is sickening,” Gladson said.

He added that his office is determined to bring p—----- to justice. “My office remains unwavering in combating child s----- exploitation and abuse. Whether you are the p—----- producing the material or the deviant viewing and sharing it, we will charge you and make sure you are punished to the fullest extent possible by law,” Gladson concluded.
