FLORIDA MOM ARRIVED AT CHILD’S SCHOOL WEARING BOXING GLOVE AND ALLEGEDLY FOUGHT A STUDENT

A mother in Jacksonville, Flordia, showed up more than prepared to fight her daughter's classmates as she was armed with a boxing glove, police say.

She had a boxing glove on one hand when she arrived at the school. She told people it was super glued to her wrist and that she couldn’t remove it, according to First Coast News.

Edith Riddle, 34, had just exited the school with her daughter after a meeting with the vice principal. Her daughter walked out of her way through the cafeteria in order to start a fight with the victim, according to the report.

Riddle’s daughter pushed the victim to the ground and threw some punches. Riddle joined in and punched the victim as well, First Coast News reported.

The victim had bruises on her knees and forearms, according to First Coast News. 

The victim's parents arrived at the school and said she wanted to pursue criminal charges. The victim was taken to the hospital for a follow-up evaluation.

Riddle has been arrested and charged with one count of child abuse with a personal/special weapon. She was booked into a Jacksonville jail and later released.
