Shooting Outside A Florida Bar And Restaurant Leads To Murder Charge For Suspect
Days after a shooting outside a Florida restaurant, police said they arrested a suspect.
This week, police in Bradenton, Florida, announced the arrest of Mario R. Alba-Reyes in connection to the case.
Around 11:40 p.m. on Nov. 29, officers responded to the La Barkania Bar and Restaurant and found a victim who had been shot. The victim, who was identified as Domingo Mendez, was taken to the hospital and died on Oct. 31.
Police determined that Mendez left the bar shortly before the shooting.
There was no word on what led to the encounter.
Investigators identified Alba-Reyes as the suspect, and he was arrested this month. He was charged with second-degree murder with a firearm.
