Man Gets In Argument With Daughter's Boyfriend Then Shoots Him Dead, Police Say

A man in Florida killed his daughter’s boyfriend during an argument, police said.
Around 7 p.m. on Sept. 20, Charles Heaven, 48, showed up at his 24-year-old daughter’s apartment while her boyfriend was there, according to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office in Florida.
An argument started between Heaven and 30-year-old Keith Smith.
During the argument, Heaven pulled out a gun and shot the victim, according to the sheriff’s office.
Smith was taken to the hospital, where he later died, according to the sheriff’s office.
Heaven fled the scene and turned himself in on Sept. 22, according to the sheriff’s office. He was charged with second-degree murder.
