65-Year-Old Man Accused Of Killing Woman In Florida, But Police Have Not Said Why

A 65-year-old man is accused of gunning down a woman in Florida, police said.

This week, police in Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office arrested Richard Herman Goodwin, 65, in connection to the case.

On Aug. 13, police responded to 118th Street for a report of a person who had been shot, according to the sheriff’s office.

When deputies arrived, they found a woman dead inside the home.

Detectives identified Herman as the suspect, and he was arrested the next day.

Police have not released a motive in the case. Herman faces charges of murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
