Months after a man was shot to death, police say they arrested the suspect.
On May 9, police in Jacksonville, Florida, were dispatched to a death investigation on Jammes Road. When police arrived, they found a 21-year-old man unresponsive.
The victim had been shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators identified the suspect as Dominiqe Tirec Rivera-Philip, but he fled the area.
He was found in the Atlanta area and arrested in recent days. This week he was returned to Jacksonville and charged with second-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Police have not released a motive or said if the suspect knew the victim.
