A 16-year-old girl was stabbed to death in a Florida apartment complex, and another teen confessed to murder, police said.
Even with the arrest, there are few details on what led to the deadly encounter.
Around 6:30 a.m. on Nov. 17, police in Kissimmee, Florida, responded to an apartment and found 16-year-old Paola Pagan with life-threatening injuries. She was stabbed, according to media reports.
She was taken to the hospital, where she died from her injuries, police said.
Investigators identified 17-year-old Anas Muhammad as the suspect, according to WKMG. He lived at the same apartment complex as the victim.
Police said that Muhammad admitted to killing the victim, the TV station reported. But authorities have not released other details such as a possible motive of if the suspect knew the victim before the killing.
Muhammad was charged with murder and is being held in a juvenile detention center.
