Woman Found Dead In Florida home, Murder Suspect Now In Jail

A woman was found dead in a Florida home, and now police say they arrested a murder suspect.

On Sept. 19, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office responded to West 33rd Street to help paramedics with a call.

First responders found a woman dead in the home, according to the sheriff’s office. The victim’s name has not been released.

Police said the victim suffered trauma but did not reveal further details about how she died. Her death was ruled a homicide.

Investigators identified Jamal Greene as a suspect and he was arrested.

Police spoke to Greene and then charged him with second-degree murder. Green was then booked into jail.
